Reto von der Becke

Reto is the Co-Founder of VDB Group and CEO of the group’s investment company, VDB Global Investment AG. He is a passionate entrepreneur and CEO professional with in-depth experience in the consumer goods and direct sales industry. Until December 2016 Reto was Co-Owner and Group CEO of Lux International, a globally operating Swiss consumer goods company devoted to the promotion of healthy living, with a strong focus on areas such as clean drinking water and pollution free air. Reto was also a Co-Founder and long-term Board Member of DSE (Direct Selling Europe), the continents premier federation of the European direct selling industry based in Brussels. 

Having successfully sold the company to a strategic investor from India after spearheading its sustained growth and international expansion to a global turnover of SFr. 200 million and a market presence in over 50 countries in the last 10 years, Reto and VDB Group are now actively looking for new entrepreneurial investment opportunities. VDB Group offers a unique combination of available equity capital, a strong entrepreneurial spirit and significant personal in-depth strategic management expertise in helping small and mid-cap companies to further develop and grow successfully on a global scale.

Reto is an active member and chapter officer of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and a member of the YPO President’s Program at Harvard Business School. He holds a CEMS Masters in Science in Management and a BSC in Economics, both from the London School of Economics. 

Dr. Susanne von der Becke

Susanne is Co-Founder of VDB Group and CEO of VDB Insights. Her focus is to provide insights on global issues and to advocate leadership, based on scientific research and the practice of conscious awareness. She is a published author and has been invited as an expert speaker on global financial crises, high frequency trading, and money and banking.

Susanne draws on over 10 years of professional experience in the finance industry. Before founding VDB Group, she was a Vice President at LGT Capital Partners in Pfäffikon/Zurich and a Director at Lehman Brothers in London.

She holds a Ph.D. in Science from ETH Zurich. Moreover, she holds a CEMS Masters in Management and a Bachelor in Industrial Relations from the London School of Economics. She is an alumna of Harvard Business School, where she completed the General Management Program.

In 2015, Susanne was honored as a “Rising Talent” by the Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society.
